Location: Hawaiian Village Golf, North Myrtle Beach, SC
Course: Pineapple
Finally, got some cool weather and took advantage of Dad having some time while in town for Mik's doctor's appointments to try out one of the further mini golf places in our area. Dad choose the Pineapple course because it is the Pro course. They used to have a Pro Mini Golf Hall of Fame upstairs, which they were unclear on if they plan to eventually reopen that part or not.
What makes the Pineapple course Pro is that there aren't bumpers that allow for the ball to go off course much more than usual. At first, Dad did not think it looked pro and it seemed to have bumpers because the edges often were raised. However, it quickly became clear those that did not keep the balls on course and we ended up with quite a few penalty strokes in our scores from going off course on various holes.
Final Scores
- Kjersti - 56
- Dad - 51
