Mom and Dad picked me up at Midway Airport around 8am and we were headed to the suburbs to stop at IKEA on our way to Grandma and Grandpa's. As we had time to kill before IKEA opened, Dad searched for a nearby coffeeshop and we ended up at Cork & Bean.
Cork & Bean had several appealing seasonal latte flavors. Mom and I enjoyed Cherry Vanilla Lattes.
Dad had the Vanilla Rose Latte.
To eat I had the Berry Banana Bowl. Dad had Avocado Toast and Mom had an Egg & Cheese Croissant (an the menu as a biscuit, but they did not have biscuits).

As Nora is about to start the Civil War unit in 4th Grade Social Studies, we decided to take a field trip to Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie National Historical Park.
Fort Sumter Visitor Center
We started our visit at the Fort Sumter Visitor Center in downtown Charleston. Here Nora did the Fort Sumter Junior Ranger program as we explored the Visitor Center. We also walked around Liberty Square.
Fort Moultrie Visitor Center
Next we headed over to Sullivan's Island to the Fort Moultrie Visitor Center. We had a picnic lunch before exploring Fort Moultrie, which included Nora doing the Junior Ranger program, watching the orientation film, and walking around Fort Moultrie.
Charleston Light
Before heading home we briefly stopped to check out the Charleston Light.

I remember one year the Festival of the Arts each Joffrey's had a different donut latte (and yes, I tried them all...in one day). It was fun when they had different ones, but one donut latte is definitely enough!

Location: Joffrey's at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Kissimmee, FL
I have long enjoyed trying the different featured coffee drinks at the various Joffrey's locations at Walt Disney World. They all seem to be cold drinks, so with it being only getting into the 50s our first day none of them seemed appealing. It was still in the 30s to start our second day, but the Animal Kingdom's featured drink was a latte that could also be done hot.
I really enjoyed the Savannah Banana Latte, which is like a banana split.
